Richard Wong has posted an interesting article for those interested in using the 5dMk2 at wide angle.
He has gone out in the woods and tried a few wide-angle lenses, and shares some of his sample pictures and what he has concluded after using the various lenses. His findings should not come as a surprise, but they are good in setting expectations for different type of lenses on such an advanced camera body.
