Samy's Camera is hosting a two-day workshop in SoCal (Los Angeles area) with Pat Darrin talking about movie making with hybrid cameras like the Canon 5D Mark II. The workshop takes place on Saturday and Sunday August 23 and 24, from 10am to 5pm each day.
This is not free, it costs $280, which comes out to $20 per hour ($280 divided by 14 (2 times 7 hours)).
This is not just for 5DMk2 users, if you have another DSLR with movie-mode, you can also sign up. They have a full list of requirements on their website.
